I grew up in Valladolid, a place I’ve left and returned to many times. After studying Fine Arts in Salamanca, I moved to Boston to study Illustration and Design—a turning point that shaped how I draw and how I understand visual storytelling. I’ve always searched for ways to look both inside and outside things at the same time… sometimes literally sleeping with my eyes open.

I’m a Spanish illustrator, comic-book artist, and visual storyteller, working across figurative drawing, sequential art, and hybrid analog–digital processes. My work has been selected and awarded by institutions such as the Society of Illustrators of New York (49th Annual Exhibition), Illustration West 43, 3x3 Magazine, the Gregorio Prieto National Drawing Award, Expocómic, Jóvenes Creadores Comunidad de Madrid, Arte Joven Castilla y León, and the Diputación de Valladolid, among others.

Throughout my career, I’ve illustrated comics and projects featuring iconic characters and worlds—including Wonder Woman, Hawkeye, Secret Avengers, Doctor Strange, and Dune—and collaborated with writers and creators such as Warren Ellis, Matt Kindt, Jeff Lemire, Vita Ayala, and Robert Venditti.

My work has been exhibited internationally in New York, Boston, Berlin, Madrid, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Buenos Aires, and Barcelona, and I was part of the traveling exhibition “Spanish Illustrators: The Color of Optimism,” showcasing contemporary Spanish illustration around the world.

I currently live and work in Spain, dividing my time between comic art, illustration, original drawings, and long-term research projects on figure drawing, narrative, and the human form.
